Nordhavn

Nordhavn 46, 1989

The Nordhavn 46 entered production in 1989 as a deep-sea passagemaker. The concept moved the company's offshore sailing experience into a full-displacement powerboat developed for long passages.

Design and construction

Hull form, stability, structure, propulsion architecture, noise control and onboard systems are developed as one offshore engineering brief.

Nordhavn 40 circumnavigation

In 2001, a production Nordhavn 40 completed a circumnavigation in 27 weeks.
